Ian Hosek

Residence: Driggs, Idaho

Born in the Rockies of Montana, surrounded by mountains and grizzly bears, Ian grew up in the outdoors and played every sport he could.  Starting out primarily in team sports, he didn’t transition to individual endurance events until 2011 when he ran his first local Mud Run and came in 2nd.  Ian started taking OCR seriously in 2014 and has been training and racing ever since.  In 2017 he decided to pursue his passions full time and started his own endurance coaching business, Hosek P.E., where he helps athletes train smart and get fast.

• 2018 Spartan Race World Championship 9th Place
• 2018 Montana Spartan Sprint 1st Place
• 2018 Spartan North American Championship 7th Place
